About the author
Réka Somogyi lives in Hungary and specialises in turning casinos' small print into clear checklists and worked numbers. Her starting point is that a bonus's value is not set by the advertised amount but by the wagering requirement, game contribution, maximum bet, deadline and cash-out cap together. She writes and updates the texts of casinocasoola.biz, both the Hungarian and the English edition.
How she works
She starts from public documents: the casino's general and bonus terms, cashier and promotion descriptions, game studios' published data and regulators' public registers. She always shows how a number is derived – for example the expected cost of wagering at a given multiplier and RTP – and marks when a number is only an illustration. She does not publish data presented as her own measurements, and she does not give scores for aspects that cannot be checked from public sources.

Her favourite topic: the expected cost of wagering

What she reads first in a new offer
With a new bonus she does not start with the advertising text but with the end of the terms: the excluded games and payment methods, the maximum bet and the cash-out cap. Then come the multiplier and base, and finally the deadline. If something is ambiguous, she does not build the answer on an assumption but notes in the text that readers should ask support about that point.
