Casoola bonuses: what they are worth once the terms are applied

This is the starting point of the bonus section on casinocasoola.biz. We do not collect offers; we explain how to read the terms of Casoola's bonuses and how to work out what an offer really costs. Specific amounts, multipliers and deadlines always come from the current promotion; the figures below are illustrative examples, not Casoola's terms.

Seven questions before you tick the bonus box

Whatever the offer, the same seven questions apply. If the terms do not answer one of them, ask support before you deposit – disputed points are much harder to settle afterwards.

#QuestionWhy it matters
1Is wagering based on the bonus, or on deposit + bonus?it can double the turnover
2What is the multiplier?the expected cost rises in direct proportion
3Which games count, and by how much?at 10% contribution you need ten times the stakes
4What is the maximum bet while the bonus is active?going over it can void the winnings
5How long do you have?the remaining bonus expires at the deadline
6Is there a cap on what can be cashed out?part of a big win may be lost
7Are any deposit methods excluded?the wrong method means no bonus

The first two questions give the required turnover, the third tells you how many real stakes that means on your chosen game, and the fourth and fifth set your room to manoeuvre. Questions six and seven are traps that only show up at the end if you do not check them first.

Estimating the expected cost of a bonus

The simplest estimate is the required turnover multiplied by the house edge. Illustrative example, not Casoola's terms: a €75 bonus, 40x wagering on the bonus, a 96 percent slot. The turnover is €3,000, the house edge 4 percent, so the expected loss is €120 – more than the €75 bonus. The same offer with 20x wagering gives an expected loss of €60, so the bonus now works in your favour on average. Individual sessions vary, but this number is the best starting point. The full derivation, including the deposit-plus-bonus variant, is in the wagering guide.

When to skip an offer

In three situations you are almost always better off without a bonus. If you plan a short session and want your money back afterwards, wagering locks the balance. If you play live casino or table games, which usually count little or nothing, the requirement becomes practically impossible. And if the maximum bet is lower than the stake you like to play, you have to watch every spin so that one wrong bet does not cost you the winnings. In those cases leave the bonus box empty, or ask for the bonus to be removed before your first bet.

The reverse case – a longer slot session, a moderate multiplier, a generous deadline – is where a bonus can add real value. The decision depends on how your playing style fits the terms, not on the size of the headline number.

Seasonal and exclusive offers

Alongside permanent offers, casinos run time-limited campaigns: holiday deposit bonuses, weekend free spins or tournaments tied to a new game. Their terms are often stricter and their deadlines shorter. "Exclusive" usually means the offer is available through a partner site or a newsletter – the wagering rules still apply in exactly the same way. The same seven questions decide every campaign.

Frequently asked questions

Which bonus suits a beginner best?
The one whose terms you can calculate from start to finish. For many beginners cashback or a low-wagering offer is more predictable than a large welcome package.
Where can I see how much wagering is left?
At most casinos the progress is shown in the account, under bonuses or promotions. If you cannot find it, ask support and request the answer in writing.
Can I cancel a bonus I have already activated?
Often yes, but cancelling usually forfeits the bonus balance and any winnings made with it. What happens to your own deposit is set by the terms, so read them first.
Does demo play count towards wagering?
No. Only real-money or bonus-money stakes count; demo mode is free and therefore not included.
