Casoola cashback: refunds as cash or as bonus money
Cashback returns part of your losses after a set period. This page of casinocasoola.biz shows what decides the real value of cashback and why it matters so much whether it arrives as cash or as bonus money. The refund rate, period and terms are set by Casoola's current offer; the figures below are illustrative.
Go to the offerThe three variables of cashback
Every cashback offer answers three questions. What is the base: net losses, total turnover or losses on certain games only? How high is the percentage, and is there a ceiling? And in what form is it paid: withdrawable cash or bonus money to be wagered? The third question is the most important, because it decides whether the refund really ends up yours.
Cash or bonus: the difference in money
The table shows the same €200 weekly net loss and 10 percent cashback in two forms (illustrative example, not Casoola's terms).
| Cashback as cash | Cashback as bonus (10x wagering) | |
|---|---|---|
| Weekly net loss | €200 | €200 |
| Refund (10%) | €20 | €20 |
| Turnover required | none | €200 |
| Expected cost of turnover (96% RTP) | €0 | about €8 |
| Average net value | €20 | about €12 |
Paid as cash, the full €20 is yours. Paid as bonus money with 10x wagering, the expected value is about €12, because the cost of the turnover is deducted. With a higher multiplier the gap grows. Cashback is a clean offer when its wagering is low or zero; look for that in the description. The wagering guide shows how to calculate the turnover.
Cashback and an active bonus
If you also played with an active deposit bonus that week, the cashback base may work differently. Some terms exclude losses made during a bonus period, others count only real-money losses. If you want to use both offers, read both sets of terms in advance, because they can exclude each other. The reload bonus page also compares reloads and cashback.
A responsible view
Cashback can make a loss feel "not real", because part of it comes back. But the refund is only a small slice of the loss and is no reason to play more. If you notice that you keep going because of cashback, set a loss limit in your account or ask for help.
