Mirror links and phishing: how to spot a fake Casoola site
Casino sites often have more than one address, and phishers exploit that: a page that looks just like the real one is used to steal login and payment details. casinocasoola.biz does not publish mirror links and does not help get around blocking by the authorities. This page is about protecting your account from fake addresses.
What a mirror is, and why it is risky
A mirror is a copy of the same site on another domain. Alongside genuine mirrors there are many fakes: the address differs by one letter, uses another ending, or appears in a search ad above the real site. The fake may look identical, but the password and card details you enter go to fraudsters.
Five rules that protect you
- Note the casino's address once, from a reliable source, and open it from a bookmark.
- Do not click a "new address" or "bonus link" received by e-mail, text or social media.
- Check the exact spelling of the domain in the address bar before logging in.
- Turn on two-step verification if the casino offers it.
- Never enter your online-banking or e-mail password on a casino site.
Blocked sites
Some countries block gambling sites that are not licensed locally; Hungary's SZTFH, for example, keeps a register of blocked gambling websites. If a site does not load, a block by the authorities may be the reason. Getting around it – with a mirror, a VPN or otherwise – is not our advice: it can put your account at risk and block the payout of winnings.
Account settings are the same on every address
If an operator genuinely runs several addresses, your account, balance, limits and active bonus are the same on all of them. A "special bonus available on another address" is therefore suspicious: genuine offers appear in your account and on the casino's promotions page. Checking bonuses is covered on the promo codes page.
If it has already happened
If you entered your details on a suspicious page, change your password on the genuine site straight away – and everywhere else you used the same one. Tell the casino's support, and if you entered card details, call your bank to block the card. Support is covered on the support page.
