Bet types: singles, accumulators, systems – and which count for a bonus

The type of bet affects risk and bonus wagering as much as what you bet on. This page of casinocasoola.biz goes through the most common bet types and the sports bonus rules that apply to them. Whether a sportsbook is available in your Casoola account is shown on the casino site; what follows are general rules, and the figures are illustrative examples, not Casoola's terms.

The types in brief

TypeHow it worksBonus angle (illustrative)
Singleone event, one outcomecounts if the odds reach the minimum
Accumulatorseveral events, all must winper-leg and total minimums may apply
Systema combination of accumulators on one slipoften excluded or handled separately
Handicapa head start or deficit for one sidebalanced odds, often within the minimum
In-playbetting during the eventsame rules, fast-moving odds
Cash outsettling a bet earlya cashed-out bet often does not count

Accumulators: big odds, big risk

In an accumulator the odds multiply, which makes the potential win attractive, but any wrong leg loses the whole slip. Illustrative example: four legs at 1.50 give combined odds of about 5.06, but all four must win. Sports bonuses often add a per-leg minimum to accumulators, so a leg at 1.30 can exclude the whole slip from turnover.

System bets

A system bet combines several accumulators on one slip, so you can still win with one or two wrong picks, but the stake multiplies with the number of combinations. Sports bonus terms often exclude system bets, or count only the stakes of winning combinations. With a bonus, avoid systems unless the description explicitly allows them.

Cash out and free bets

Cash out lets you settle a bet before the event ends, at a current value. It is convenient, but the bookmaker builds its margin into that value too, and under bonus terms a cashed-out bet often does not count towards turnover. With a free bet only the net win is paid and the stake does not return – a €10 free bet at odds of 2.00 brings €10 profit, not €20.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between an accumulator and a system bet?
In an accumulator every event must win. A system combines several accumulators, so you can win with some wrong picks, but the stake multiplies.
What is a free bet win worth?
Only the net profit: the stake does not come back. A €10 free bet at 2.00 brings €10 profit.
Is cash out worth it?
It is convenient, but the bookmaker's margin is built into the cash-out value, and with a bonus a cashed-out bet often does not count towards turnover.
